Quick toggle of caption in Fullscreen Mode

The more I use XnView, the more I love it. It does nearly everything I would want... which is mainly a self-contained app to run fullscreen images from a cd or HD.

One useful thing that is missing, tho, is the ability to QUICKLY display/hide the caption in the fullscreen mode. My previous favourite image displayer (photocdbrowser) used the Spacebar to toggle the caption. Why not build the same functionality into XnView? (incidentally, I always use IPTC Caption as the source for my on-screen caption).

:) Hello !

¤ This could be useful, but via another key or key-combination, because the space-bar is already used either to display the next file in "View" mode, or to start the "Quick Slide Show" (option planned in the next version…).
- So, I could support that proposal.

:P Currently, free short-cuts keys are getting rare ! A lot of “Keyboard Knights” request them !

 Kind regards,
Claude

Not sure if I got you right, Kevin: If you want to hide/show the information (filename) displayed in fullscreen you can press "i" key to achieve this.
