Unable to rename mp4 files

Hello, I am running the latest version of xnview classic. It seems that I am unable to rename mp4 files while they are open. I tried running xnview as an admin but that doesn't help. All other formats are not affected. This unfortunately makes program almost unusuable 
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve or even troubleshot this?
