Categories don't merge properly

XnView MP Linux
Version 0.93.1 64bits (Mar 7 2019)
Take a file (File 1). Create and apply a category "CatA".
Take another file (File 2). Create and apply a category "CatB".
So far, so good.
Now, go to the Categories pane again and rename "CatB" into "CatA".
Outcome: you will see "CatA" repeated twice, with both instances displayed in their old locations.
/ Wrong behavior? I think so. /
Now, pick either of the two "CatA"s and Merge it with the other.
You still have access to both File 1 and File 2 via the tag "CatA".
Now, delete one of the "CatA"s - let's say, the one that used to be "CatB".
The outcome will be exactly as if you deleted "CatB", even though theoretically, it doesn't exist anymore.
Final result: time spent tagging your files wasted..
