JPG lossless crop - an error occurred, the lossless rotation cannot be executed

I would like to crop a jpeg file without recompressing. But unfortunately XNView is showing an error.
I select the area to crop, and go to JPEG lossless transformations and Crop. I get the attached error:

It is also impossible to do a lossless rotation on the picture.
