There are periodically requests to be able to convert files only if a specified condition, relating to, for example, file size or pixel dimensions, is satisfied.

A 'conditional conversion' option was recently added to NConvert, as described in this topic:

Option to 'Convert only if specified file parameter condition is satisfied'

A similar option in XnConvert would be a useful enhancement, and might possibly consist of a panel on the Output tab labelled 'Conditional conversion' containing a check box to enable the option, and suitable drop down menu(s) and/or radio button(s)...

Recent example request:

Keep original image if file size is smaller

A new post Hot Folder - Convert only specified file type requests an option to be able to convert only files of a specific file type.

If a 'Conditional conversion' option is eventually added, filter by file type Convert only specified extension(s) or Exclude specified extension(s) could be an additional option added to the options recently added to NConvert to filter by file size and pixel dimension.

I support this request.

XnConvert 1.85.1 still suffer same issue.
