Platform: Windows 10 x64
XnView: 0.94.2 64bits (Dec 20 2019)

---

0.94 fixed this bug I mentioned, but it's not fixed completely:

1. It only works when you copy the whole image, not working well if you copy part of it
2. It's not working with any image source except XnView itself, for example pressing PrtSc or other screenshot applications

Reproduce & result:

1. Open an image with XnView, press PrtSc key on the keyboard to take a screenshot
2. Paste to mspaint or IM chatbox, the screenshot will be pasted correctly
3. Exit XnView, try step 2. again
4. You lost your screenshot data forever

So this might be some sort of application conflict?
I was running Steam & Tencent TIM when testing this, I'm not sure how you (and others) can reproduce this :(

this is my settings, if it's related

p.s.
In case you missed the demo, please check the last part, mspaint works with most of the times, only failed with third party source after close. (I use printscreen command to demonstrate, but it fails with other apps too, for example images from IM applications itself)

Mspaint is just for comparison to show that it works strangely (different) in different applications.
What I (and most users I suppose) really cares about is how it works with IM softwares (like telegram), in which it mostly failed

2020-01-02 addition:

Copy a .gif image into IM application while XnView is running is working
But Copy a .gif image, close XnView then paste into IM application you get only one frame of that gif (not moving)
