Could you confirm what tiff formats can be read by xnviewMP:
- 8 bit compressed/uncompressed
- 16 bits compressed/uncompressed
- 16bits float compressed/uncompressed
- 32bits float compressed/uncompressed
What type of compression methods are supported?
Are V4 ICC profiiles as well as V2 ICC profiles supported?
Thanks

yes
- 32bits float compressed/uncompressed
Not sure if you have a sample file?
What type of compression methods are supported?
None, ZIP, LZW, Packbits, JPEG
Are V4 ICC profiiles as well as V2 ICC profiles supported?
could you send me V4 ICC profile?

You will find
here
- TIFF 8, 16, 16 float ,32 float uncompressed and compressed with zip. They include an ICC V2 equivalent to sRGB. I verified all these TIFF can be read by GIMP2.10
- ICC V2 and V4 from Elle Stone (
https://ninedegreesbelow.com/)
I checked if XnviewMP can read all the TIFF:
- 8bits, 16 bits compressed and uncompressed : YES
- All floating point TIFF : NO
For the 32bit float uncompressed, it is not obvious to see the defect. You will notice that white (the moon) and shadows have artifacts.
What is important now for me is to be able to read 16 bits TIFF with V2 profile.
16 and 32bit float would be a plus.
I can avoid to use V4 ICC
edit: when I transform TIFF into jpg with batch processing, can you confirm that output profile is sRGB?
