Slow Drag and Drop-Sorting of Pictures from bottom to top

Hi all,
is there any possibility to speed up the drag and drop-mechanism to get a picure from bottom to top? in my case, it can't be used that way, it tooks some seconds to get a picture from bottom to top, if you even hit the pixels that push the image up.
