hi all,
first:
i moved to a new flat and are not connected to the holy internet. (for now)
so i cannot research the forum for articles which may be doublettes of my following posts.
i'm commiting the following posts from a place, where i can't research the forum as long as i could do from home :-)
so please excuse any "doublettes", if so.
search dialog (ctrl-f)
after searching a filename "68839.jpg" xnview shows
Reaults
Found 1 matching item(s).
and offers a "search" and a "view" button.
if i press "view", xnview doesnt really show me the found picture, but shows the thumb in browse mode.
i'd like to have an additional button "browse" which does the thing, the "view" button does right now, so that the "view"-button could show the current pic.

But if you have more than 1 result, how must work "view"??

thats simple. :-) then the "view" button become a "browse results" button. (or how do you like to name it)
also, i found another "feature/bug":
if i type in the name in the searchdialog and press enter, xnview searches the files and shows the result.
if i don't like the result and try to specify the search (i.e. by changing the filename) and press enter again.
the result is directly shown. i don't have to click on view. this is irritating.

1. But there would be 2 browse buttons there... BTW, there is another very similar/same topic for this suggestion, so use that topic please...
2. I can confirm this, but please start a new topic in "Bugs" forum. Thanks.

at the end there should be 2 buttons:
view
*and*
browse
;-)
which will:
view the search results (opens the first picture in the search result and let the user scroll through the remaining pictures)
and
browse the search results (just open the search results in browsermode. this is what the button "view" does now)
we will continue this @
