I searched for this issue, but maybe my terminology was wrong.

When browsing folders of images, very often it will not load the actual thumbs, and just shows the default file-type icons. This can usually be fixed one of three ways.

1. Refresh from the menu or F5
2. Just click on one of the thumbs
3. Browse to another folder and then back again

I made a short video to show it in action, (1:11 and 28mb) but of course it did it much less than what I normally experience. It can sometimes happen every other folder, but it averages around 1 in 4.

do you have a way to reproduce each time?

I rebooted and went back to the same folders I showed in the video, but it doesn't happen on the same folders.

So I guess I don't know a way to make it happen always. I can say it's been happening for a while now and just got around to reporting it.
