Rebuild exif date for smartphones

I have a lot of photos taken by smartphones that have been resized, moved, transferred, edited ... and they have lost their exif date
But most smartphones write the names of the photos in this format: yyyymmdd_hhmmss or similar.
With "Batch rename", it's easy to fix filenames , to make them start with this format
With "Tools, metadata, transfer, it would be cool if we could select at least one "date" field in ( file created, file modified , exif date taken, exif date digitized, exif date modified) to be written .
For source data, we will choose {filename} and xnviewmp will detect yyyymmdd_hhmmss or yyyymmdd at the beginning of filename.
If necessary we can use "change timestamps" later to copy a date into others.
Are there here other users that have the same request ?
