I have CTRL F4 as the shortcut for closing tabs yet Esc closes the current tab, and closes the app is there's only one tab.
I want Esc to do nothing.

Two settings that may be relevant:

Tools > Settings > Interface -- Keyboard tab -- Pressing ESC once quits XnViewMP

Tools > Settings > Interface -- Tabs tab -- Closing last tab exits XnView

Thanks, but they're not, what I need is for XnView not to close tabs when I press ESC

You want to close open tabs but not close XnView MP?
