I select any category in categories, the same image will appear twice.
I used DB Browser For SQLite to view XnView's database file XnView.db and found that the same picture was recorded as 2 different pictures in the database.

Please check out these two screenshots. I checked the details of the same two pictures in XnView in turn. The results showed that they are the same picture in the system folder.

but the folderID is different 12 & 33, please check the Folder table

Thank you for paying attention to my question. I opened my folder table, searched "12" and "33", and found that they were not the same folder.

I wonder, what caused this problem?

I use XnView to manage the same sets of images on both computers.

On two separate computers, I use a netdisc to synchronize the images, keeping them exactly the same. The synchronization also includes the XnView database (excluding the thumbnail database) .

The paths of the image library folder on both computers are the same, both are "D: \Material Center"

My operating system is Windows 10.

Is that what caused the problem I mentioned? If so, what advice would you give to keep the image and database consistent between the two computers?

do you have a base path in settings>Catalog?

Yes, I've set the base path to "D:\Material Center\" on both computers

The Base Path was set up before the problem was discovered. But the 2 computers weren't set up at the same time.

you should not have in Folder Table "D: \Material Center\*", do you have only one row like that?

so it's strange, you have many folders without 'base path'. Your 2 computers use same database with same 'base path', right?
Try to remove the folder entry like 'D:/Material Center', and check to see if they re-appear?

I removed the folder entry like 'D:/Material Center'. The image stopped repeating itself.
