096.2 Drag and drop only copies the link and not the picture.

HI. Apologies if this is not a bug but so far searching the forum etc I have not come up with an answer.
drag and drop from XNVIEWMP 0.96.2 to word for example it drops a text link to the original picture.
The only way to get a picture transfer is to right click, copy, then paste in the word document.
Is there an option or setting that can change the action? I have read the xnview.ini fine and still no resolution for me.
Other picture programs all work to drag the actual copy of the picture.

Sorry been tied up.
Back to drag and drop. Trying to drag and drop from xnviewmp to outlook email program.
Seems i have accidently found a solution but while this overcomes my problem the behaviour still seems a bit odd.
Windows 10 64 bit 2004 recently updated and previous 10 versions.
having xnviewmp open and viewing thumbnail pictures. having Outlook365 open creating an email.
drag picture from xnview to the email message body area. Note it drops a text location and name of the filename only. ie
"file:///C:/Users/user/Documents/!!best/IT/!Laptop/!Software/Internet/SlimJet/2017-07-24_092402.jpg" is a sample of a direct drop.
All other picture programs drop the actual picture into the email.
But just now i discover that in xnviewmp drag the picture thumbnail and drag and drop in the email but not in the message body, just above it, and the picture is then inserted as an attachment. Thats pretty normal and good.
To actually drop the picture in the body of the message and appear as a picture I must control+shit+C the thumbnail in xnviewmp, and then control+V paste into the email body. Either way i have some useful way to insert pictures from XNview MP into the email and both are very useful.
I just find the drag and drop from the xnviewmp thumbnail into the message body would be better if the actual picture was inserted there. But its a quite minor problem now i have discovered a way to make it work. Of course it maybe my inexperience or thickness of understanding!
Thanks for the reply and a great program with so many features. Minsik.
Another attempt and today wont drop anything but the path+name onto any section of the email. However this is a new email that does not have any information and has not been saved yet.
