How to Crop & Split files?

Dear all,

I have a question about how to Crop & Split files in Xnview MP and Xnview Classic.

As I have many files to Crop & Split for my teaching materials, each of them I have to adjust the long or width manually,
how do I, for example:

1. aaa.png

select the proper long or width I need manually, and then cropped it

2. the viewing/active screen is aaa.png (which is changed, not saved yet), that is cropped;

3. and the other part will be kept, and save as aaa-aother_part.png

Can this make a new feature in the future, or it's just an option in Xnview that I do not know yet?

Please help me, thank you.

You need to split a series of images into two and save each part?

If you need to make custom crops for each image, I don't see any way other than to open the image, make the first crop and save it, then use the undo button to return to the original image, and then make the second crop and save it... With two crops made by eye, the two images might not be an exact fit if you joined them again, but possibly that wouldn't matter?

However, if the same crops could be used for multiple images, if necessary selected from the full set of files, you could use the batch convert function to process a series of images, run twice for the same input files to produce the two sets of cropped images... :?: :D
