Hi,

I have a large collection of pictures that I tagged with categories for my convenience. Pictures are in multiple folders too.
I bought a new HDD and I want to move my pictures to that new HDD, but when I try to move the folders containing the pictures, I lose my metadata information. However, it works when I move files instead of folders.
Is there a way to move the folders with all the pictures at once and keep the metadata?

Yes, this is the way I did it. I also tried using the "move" command and cut/paste, but I don't keep the tags of the files. It works when I do it with the files though, but I have a large number of folders. I'm using 2.49.3
