Batch rename, action of "Clear template"

Am I wrong or the button "Clear template" deletes all templates without warning ?

If confirmed that's really painful (I just lost the 10 templates I used to use :x )
May I suggest to change the behaviour so it delete only the template selected (a mean to clean-up the list).
Best if it does it immediately so multiple templates can be deleted if necessary.

I noticed that nothing really happens until I press Ok. But then the window closes and all my templates were gone!
Before pressing Ok the button clears the input field, no more templates are visible but if I press Cancel they are back on the next session.

yes it clears the list of template, perhaps a dialog box?

Best if templates are deleted one by one by pressing the button. Currently the only mean is to edit the .ini file (or the registry  )

Doing so makes the behavioural of this button more obvious, allowing a clean-up of the list, under visual control. No need for an additional dialog box.

If not possible / too complicated, then a confirmation box is welcome for the time being.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.98.0. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

Dialog box works as expected. Now you can't be surprised all your rename templates are gone.

Thanks, take care and have a good holiday period
