XnView Software

In the slideshow setup you can insert information that will show up on top of the slideshow (eg filename, caption). However, there doesn't appear to be any way of changing the location of the information line. It only appears at the top.

Is there another place where this can be adjusted or is it just not possible to change its location (I would prefer bottom center).

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.98.0. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

This issue has been tested with Xnview MP version 0.98.0 64bits (Dec 14 2020) running under Winows 10 and seems to be fixed. It is posible to select a different position for the info.
Unfortunately the position won't be stored to the *.sdl file. So the position will be lost and the info will be displayed always top left after double click at *.sld file. Please add the position to the *.sld file, like the other parameters e.g. TextColor. Thanks!

Right, Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.
