Update catalog from all folders

With respect to my post

... (where there has been no reaction at at)...

I suggest to add the function to scan all folders that are included by MP
for new, uncategorized items.
If I get it right (?), then actually I have to open EVERY SINGLE FOLDER
to let get MP the new items that have been put into the different folders.
(Which is very bad).

For me it seems a basic function to get to know which items have been added,
so I know that I have to categorize them.

BTW
I would have expected this function either in "Settings/ Catalog"
or in "View / Update catalog from files".
But none of both finds new files.

As I said - this looks essential for a tagging software.
