XnView Software

Hi,

I have all my photos (around 50,000) in the /home/froggy/photos/ folder with about 400 subfolders. I have a bunch of other jpgs and pngs that are in other folders but that I do not want them in the index.

I'd like for xn to only index the /home/froggy/photos/ with the subfolders. Nothing else.

Is there a way of specifying/limiting xnviewmp, cammand-line or internal setting?

A workaround could be to install XnViewMP twice (portable version with local settings for each one)
- 1st instance for mananging your own photos, where the Catalog is up to date
And a 2nd install where neither "Import" nor "Export" would be checked in "Settings , Metadata" screen...
