Draw Window (Image Menu)

I suggest XNview MP should allow a color change option, other the default and permanent black, for the background pane of the Draw Window (Image menu), because, as it is today, in case of pictures either surrounded by black color, or with one border in black, we cannot distinguish between picture and pane borders, thus difficulting its editing, such as text inserting, for instance. In XNview Classic, the same suggestion applies to the Insert Text option, also in the Image menu.

No, I would like to be able to change the color of the background pane, because if the image has a black contour, we cannot see the borders of the image.

do you think that it's better to use settings>View>Background color? or another setting?

I think same colour as Image view would be fine (at least for me and I guess for most people, too).
