0.98: no export to .xmp companion file / empty .xmp

XnView: MP 0.98.0 - 64-bit
OS: Windows 10 - 64-bit
Category, ratings and color labels are not exported to the .xmp companion file for some media types - the .xmp files remains empty.
To reproduce:
1. Set following: 2. Set rating, category or labels to a .mp4 video file and it will create an empty .xmp file, without saving anything in it. Does the same with a .rw2 picture and it will create a .xmp with the saved datas.
3. I have found out the following: Write something into the empty .xmp (for example write "test" into and save), deselect and select the .mp4 in XnView MP, set a new rating and XnView MP will write it into the .xmp.
For testing I just created an empty txt-file and renamed it to "test04.rw2". XnView MP recognizes it, but when I rate the file, it will create an empty XMP file again.
