Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, XnView MP v0.98.0 64-bit

Current behavior:
Attempting to batch convert a PDF file containing an image does not generate any output file.

How to reproduce:
1. Go to XnView MP browser mode
2. Select a PDF file containing one or more images (for example generate a PDF from any images with XnView MP)
3. Open the Batch converter and select an output format (for example JPG or PNG)
4. Execute the batch conversion
5. The conversion status reports the PDF file to be "not a picture"

Expected behavior:
XnView MP should (at least) be able to convert a PDF file containing an image that was generated with XnView MP.

No Preview image either, I imagine?

A known bug related to recent Ghostscript changes, I think, from memory you can probably temporarily use XnView MP 0.98's batch convert function...

I'm afraid I cannot quite follow. I just reported that batch conversion fails. Could you please elaborate?

XnConvert like all xnview software uses Ghostscript to rasterise PDF images (and certain other format images), multiple changes in recent GS versions have caused compatibility issues with different xnview applications.

The latest XnView MP version 0.98 is confirmed compatible with the current GS release, I've just checked, but the latest XnConvert version 1.90 released at the same time is not compatible, a known issue...

If, however, you are using an earlier GS version, there have been several releases recently, that could further complicate the problem.

Edit:

My mistake, I replied to your post thinking it concerned XnConvert, so given that XnView MP is known good with the current GS version (I don't know which version is installed in my Linux Mint) your issue should be due to your using an earlier GS version.
