I think that this setting works only with XnView Classic

Is this interface implemented by Total Commander or XnViewMP?

Hello Pierre,

what are the chances that you provide an XnView Lister plugin for Total Commander?

It would be totally sufficient if the lister plugin just supports viewing of images, but not writing. Lister plugins enable Total Commander users to make use of the quick view feature, where the active file panel of the two file panels is used to browse files and folders as usual, while the area of the inactive file panel is used to list the content of the currently highlighted file, making use of any installed lister plugins supporting the currently highlighted file format.

EDIT:
Should you be interested to take a look, here's the download link for Total Commander's Lister Plugin Help v2.1

Hi Pierre,

thank you for taking a look and your response.

The benefits of an XnView lister plugin for Total Commander would be to have a very versatile and current plugin that supports a much broader range of image formats than the plugin you are probably referring to named 'Imagine'. Besides 'Imagine' isn't actively maintained anymore for many years, so this would also be a great opportunity to fill the gap which that plugin has left due to the lack of support.

Actually no matter if it'd a plugin or just XnViewMP's implementation (where Total Commander could use XnViewMP's abilities in internal viewer/lister). But it'd give a lot of benefits to Total commander users. So no need to have both XnView-classic (or Irfan) and XnViewMP's.

Thank you in advance.

Total Commander has a wide user base and so has XnView. So it would be just logical, cool, and last not least a win-win to have those two tools integrated closely.

Dear Helmut,

thanks for joining the discussion and supporting the idea, much appreciated.
Also, I'm happy to meet you again, haven't seen you in a while in the forums. :)

Any news on this?
Should we expect integration soon or just to abandon hope?

It works very strangely. Generates literally 10-15 previews, and then just stays in the background and loads the processor by 8%. I'd rather use XnView Classic, it's at least stable. :?

Strange, on which format?
