file modification date is not updated when timestamp changes

Hi,
I have 'keep original date time' (into File Operations setting) unchecked for the three related items.
When a I do some metadata changes, file modification date is updated with the date of the change (it is ok).
But this logic don't apply to timestamp changes, you can get :
- either no modification of the file modification date if 'file: modified date' is unchecked
- either file modification date = new timestamp of the photo if 'file: modified date' is checked
It seems impossible to get file modification date = date of the change (as for any other change into metadata).
I understand that XnViewMP provide the ability to set file modification date = new timestamp but if this option is unchecked, the setting of 'keep original date time' should apply.
