0.98: XnView doesn't return to full screen in macOS

XnView: MP 0.98.1 64bits (Jan 20 2021)
OS: macOS Big Sur (I observed it also on Catalina and Mojave, so I thinks it always worked like that)
Effect: XnView doesn't return to full screen
To reproduce:
1. Open picture in XnView in full screen
2. Switch to other application which is not in full screen using Cmd+Tab
3. Switch back to XnView using Cmd+Tab
Actual behaviour (bug): XnView doesn't return to full screen and picture is not shown it the full screen mode anymore
Expected behaviour: XnView should return to full screen mode and show picture mentioned in 1)
Remark: Regarding 2) When user switches to application which is also in full screen mode, problem doesn't happen.
