0.98.2: Import and Sort - new filename/rename not working

XnView: MP 0.98.2 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 64bit
File rename does not work anymore. Was working in last installed Version > 0.98.x.
Bug was reproduced on a second device with Windows 10 64 bit (one in German language and the other with English language).
Effect: files are imported without any modification of filename
To reproduce:
1. In Tools open the Import and Sort Option ("Importieren und Sortieren ..." in my German)
2. Use a renaming template for your files (they have not changed since ages and automatically transferred from former installations if XnView)
Actual behaviour (bug): renaming won't happen (see screenshot)
Expected behaviour: file are stored in renamed state followed by renaming template provided
