Hello Pierre,

I am working on a Windows 10 system with version 0.98.2.

The dialog "Edit IPTC..." for multi-selection of files has the options:
- keep original value if new value is empty
- replace only if original value is empty.

But dialog "Edit XMP..." for multi-selection does only have
- keep original value if new value is empty

This dialog should be enhanced also with option
- replace only if original value is empty

I've not kept these options for XMP because not sure that they are used??

Hello Pierre,

The IPTC organisation defines all IPTC-tags and it recommends the following:
- write/store IPTC-tags inside XMP
- and store them also in IPTC-IIM - but for legacy only.

So please implement "replace only if original value is empty" for Edit XMP...
Edit IPTC... and Edit XMP... should behave identically.
