Version 4.1.0 and PNG files issue

The shell extension has been flawlessly working here with all supported image files, PNG included. But yesterday I received from a coworker two PNG files that can't show thumbnails.

PNG file
xnv1.png

PNG file from coworker
xnv2.png

This is odd for two reasons:

- Other PNG I already had on my system are OK as to thumbs.

- The files from my coworker are 19 MB in size and I have set the option No thumbnail for file size greater than to 120 MB.

Unless there is other explanation, my guess is that it happens because the PNG files I have on my system were created on Windows, while the coworker PNG files were created on a Mac.

My guess is right or not? TIA.

The Attachments tool here shows an error message saying the files are too large. How can I send them to you via this forum?

Thank you very much for the answer, but... it's archaic Aramaic to me! :o

What is "iTXT data"? Is it something a simple user like me can deal with? I searched online to try to understand what it is, but it seems to be something only programmers and the like can deal with.

For example, when I generate a PNG image using CorelDRAW, I have a lot of options to set, like color mode, transparency, etc. before I export it.
png_test.png

Is there a way this "iTXT data" can be modified when saving the image in the PNG format? If it's possible, I can tell that coworker to adjust things before he sends me PNG images. NB: I work with Windows, he works with a Mac.

TIA.

iTXT data is used to store metadata

I'll add the support for large iTXT data
