Hi

How to I set to default to View > Preview > Auto Image Size > Fit image to window. This setting is set to Fit image to window, large only by default. How do I change it? Everytime i change the setting, it gets reset to default after i exit the app.

XnViewMP ver - Version 0.98.2 64bits (Feb 18 2021)
MacOS - 11.2.3

Try changing that setting to "Last Used"
Then get everything the way you like it and save the layout

I tried setting the Preferences > View > Auto Image Size > Last used. How do I save the layout? I tried exit the app and reopen but the settings will not stay.

It should be on your tool bar ... just the word "Layout" and no icon. I have tweaked my tool bbar so if you do not see it,right click an empty spot on the tool bar and customize it

Did this but the setting won't stay. It auto resets back to default upon app exit.

Tried saving the layout to Layout A but also didn't work. The Preview pane Auto image size settings still go back to default after exit.

Anyone know what else can be done to enable the setings?

After checking, preview use always as default 'Fit large only'.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.98.3. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
