Annoying Tooltips

I use the categories sidebar a lot, but assigning a category to a thumbnail is annoying as the tooltip keeps coming up (hovering) whenever my mouse pointer touches a category or sub-category. I have turned off tooltips in the settings.

Attachment added of the tooltip I mean, it keeps coming up when I am trying to add categories to my files.

A similar problem was solved in V0.96
viewtopic.php?f=104&t=39667
The tooltip was in Categories Filter pane:

And it has been moved to the top of the pane.
Now this annoying tooltip is in Categories assignment pane , so we cannot read or click hidden categories

I have the tooltips turned off in the preferences, but the one I'm having trouble with in the categories just will not go away.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in
XnView MP 0.98.3. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
