XnView MP Windows, Version 0.98.4 64bits (May 28 2021)

When entering full screen, info strings are not showing. When I go to next or previous picture after entering full screen, info strings display OK.

The following options in Settings are checked:

View > Info:
Always in fullscreen
HTML tags supported

View > Fullscreen > Fullscreen:
Show info

This used to work in MP 0.98.2 and previous versions (I don't know about MP 0.98.3 since I skipped it).

could you describe the exact way to reproduce?

I start Xnview with browser. I double-click or press Enter a photo to enter full screen.

Settings > Interface > Switching Mode:
Use double click:
Browser <> Fullscreen | Viewer <> Fullscreen
Use Enter:
Browser > Fullscreen > Viewer

After entering full screen, I see the photo but see no info strings. When I press left or right arrow keys to move to next or previous photo, the next/previous photo shows with its info strings.

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem. It's related to hidden preview

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.99.0. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

Bug is fixed on MP 0.99.0.
