Subject: 0.98.4: Settings/Interface/ToolBar/Browser/...cant delete Icon "BatchConvert" in GUI
XnView: MP 0.98.4 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 64bit

Settings/Interface/ToolBar/Browser/...cant delete Icon "BatchConverter" in GUI

Effect: have to edit "foo.bar" and delete cmr_batch

To reproduce:

1. go to Settings/Interface/ToolBar/Browser/ add icon BatchConveter
2. Close program and reopen it
3. go to Settings/Interface/ToolBar/Browser/ try to move icon BatchConveter back..
4. little arrow is gray (inactiv) instad of black (activ)


Actual behaviour (bug): have to edit "foo.bar" and delete cmd_convert ...?

Expected behaviour: deleting the menue from toolbar again..

Hi Pierre, could it be a user rights restriction? Setup is under C:\..\AppData\Roaming...
I can redo the toolabr options "batch" straight away. But after shut down and restart I can't.
I have a look on this and will report more details...
The workaround (editing foo.bar) is my option - just in case...

more news: It is - on my setup - the last icon in the ToolBar that is "disabled" at "Step#1".
Choosing the next icon is enabled... Step#2
Going down again... now I can delete the icon which was disabled... Step#3...

Anyway, dont worry, will check this on a different hardware & setup...

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.99.0. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
