Hello,
importing a bunch of medias (photos + videos) coming from a folder all mixed together, hoping to be transferd in new subfolders, each with a name with this pattern : yyy-MM-dd
The photos are well put in a subfolder with the date it was taken, as sekected in the "subfolder" menu of import window,
but the videos don't go the same, despite the same parameter (yyy-MM-dd) : instead, they are put all together in a folder with today's date, even if I select the case "Rename as pictures...

I made a couple of tries : in fact, I'd like pictures and videos imported in the same "210901" folder (for example) , but actually, pictures are separated from the videos
it seems that the date considered by xnview to import the videos is the creation date on the disk (for the pictures, it uses the real date taken) => .i.e. : the video as been taken by the camera 210901 (Android phone) and imported in Mac 210912, the file name is VID_210901_xxxxxx but it is imported by xnview in a folder named 210912 as all the others independantly the date taken.

Is it sufficiently clear, my english is quite rusted... ?

yes file date is used for videos
