Drag&Drop MacOS

I have very similar problem, drag and drop ok with 0983, but with 0984 impossible to drag and drop => xnview doesn't drag the image and makes only selection...
Mac os 10.14.6

It's not the same problem, do oyuhave the problem each time?

No it's not the same problem. I wouldn't open a new thread for it.
But there is are the news:
It's finally not exactly what I wrote about... I lose the drag&drop only whit .... Final cut pro.... ?!?
Doesn't matter if 0983 or 0984... I find my medias files in XnView I switch to FC and import the medaas. I switch to XnV and drag&drop te medias. I work in FC and after I want import the others medias and... in this moment impossible the make drag&and drop with FC. I can only select the thumbails. If I quit and reopen XnV I can make drag&drop again.
What I found is that I lost the drag&drop only after I made drag&drop into FC! If I wark in FC, no pb with XnV, biut after chen I make drag&drop inside FC and I switch to XnV, XnV lost the possibility to makee drag&drop.
I tried make the same with for example TextEdit and all is ok for the moment.

XnV/FCP
1 open FCP
2 open XnV
3 import FCP
4 Drag&Drop XnV => FCP
5 work in FCP : move some plans in FCP for example
6 import FCP
7 Drag&Drop XnV => FCP - doesn't work
8 Close XnV
9 reopen XnV
10 Drag&Drop XnV => FCP - works
XnV/TE
1 open TE
2 open XnV
3 -
4 Drag&Drop XnV => TE
5 work in TE : move some text (copy, paste, drag&drop, etc..)
6 -
7 Drag&Drop XnV => TE - works

sorry but I don't understand your question...
I make the same things into two different softwares and into one software it doesn't work...
What I have to reproduce?
