XnView Software

Did a search of the forum for import and iOS and didn't find a discussion of this, so I'm guess it is NOT a bug, but maybe user error on my part, or a feature request.

The import functionality with MP is great with my SD cards from my traditional camera.

But for some reason it is not recognizing my iphone and ipad as "cameras" when they are connected to my Mac, so it doesn't let me import from them.

Is there a toggle somewhere that I am missing?

Update: Looks like iOS devices have a different driver(?) on the Mac so while the OS sometimes treats it like a external drive, and while some apps treat them like cameras with things like PTP, neither appear to be accessible that way within XnView.

Still not sure whether airdrop is the best solution (Airdrop to the computer, move the files using Import and Sort) so that is what I'm exploring next.
