0.98.4: Setting "Switching mode" not respected when selecting *multiple* files in browser

XnView: MP 0.98.4 - 64-bit
OS: Both Linux & Windows
After setting the "Switching mode > Use ENTER to switch between" option to "Browser <> Fullscreen | Viewer <> Fullscreen", when I select *multiple* files in browser, and press Enter, I still get them opened in a new tab.
Expected behavior: Open in fullscreen
When pressing Enter on a *single* file in browser, it works as expected.

When you open multiple files, it's always opened in a tab

Yes, and this is the bug, IMO ;-)
What's your reason for being inconsistent here? I can't see any difference between viewing one file or multiple...
Besides, there's no hint in the options, that this setting applies to single files only.

Well, right now you also don't open multiple tabs!
Current behavior: When multiple files are selected, you're opening the first one in a tab, then PageDown/Up moves through those selected files.
Suggested behavior: Open the first one in fullscreen, then have PageDown/Up move through those selected files. Just like good old ACDSee did it ;-)
