XnViewMP: 0.99.1
OS: Manjaro Linux
Desktop: KDE
KDE Plasma: 5.22.5
KDE Frameworks: 5.86.0
Qt: 5.15.2

Issue

When I right-click on any image and select "Open in file explorer" it fails with an error message that reads "Error - KIO Client"

This happens for any image, any folder, any source (local, external, remote), doesn't matter if there are no spaces in the full path.

It doesn't matter if I open the image with File -> Open or by double-clicking it in my file browser (Dolphin).

Update

This might be a KDE bug, since I can confirm it still happens with XnViewMP 0.99.0 and 0.98.4.

If you start XnView in a terminal, do you have some printed messages?

I've found https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442721, not sure that it's a bug in KDE

I suspect it is. You can close this bug report for XnViewMP, since it appears to be an upstream issue.

If it happens again after KDE "fixes" it, then I can start a new thread.
