Delete multiple categories

I'm not sure if this is by design or not so I placed it in suggestions instead of bugs. But when you use ctrl or shift to select multiple catalog categories and then press the delete key, it only deletes one of them (the one you selected last). Would it be possible to make it so you can delete multiple categories at a time when you select them?
