Hi,

I recently noticed that I still use v1.85.1, so I updated XnConvert. First to 1.92 and later to 1.94.
In both versions I run into the issue that XnConvert freezes (not responding) when I add files/folders. I tried both, pulling files/folders into the window and adding them via button. It doesn't make any difference.
Luckily I still had the setup file from v1.85.1. So I uninstalled the new versions and went back to 1.85.1.
Everything works fine there, so something between 1.85.1 and 1.92 must cause the issue.

Im having a similar problem but xnconvert closes with no error message when adding a folder.

Im using 1.94 x64 but the problem goes back to at least 1.85 (Which used to work)
Ive tried disabling AVAST and Malware Bytes. Also Tried the 32Bit version Same thing happens the contents are added then once you move your mose it closes.

how do you add your files? if you add one file, same problem? Do you have actions?

Ok, I have to correct myself. It doesn't freeze it only needs veery long to react. And it depends on how many files are added. With 10 files it took so long that I thought the programm is frozen.

Really strange, i've just tried on clean windows 10 21H1, with same file, and no freeze.
With 1.92 x64, no problem?

No, 1.92 had this issue, too. It was my old 1.85.1 setup which worked fine.
However I just visited uptodown.com to test all versions between 1.85.1 and 1.94 (since I could only find the latest version on your website).
And suddenly 1.85.1 didn't work anymore aswell.
So I compared the info screen from v1.85.1 (uptodown) and v1.85.1 (my old setup file). Then I saw the difference.
Not the versions 1.85.1, 1.90, 1.92 or 1.94 are the problem. It's the difference between 32 and 64 bit.
My old setup file which had no issues is 32 bit. All other versions that had issues are 64 bit.
Which is still odd, because I never had issues with 64 bit programs. That's my system:

Could you try to rename the xnconvert.ini?

I did that. It didn't change anything during the adding files process. But it showed a difference between the view as list or thumbnails, when switching between the tabs:

All 64 Bit versions, including 1.94

and you have this issue with jpeg too?

At the moment I can add files but not folders. When I add a folder it just quits to desktop.

with 'add folder' button?

Yes you "Add folder" the content appears then it crashes to desktop as soon as you move the mouse.

I can't reproduce, in the folder, do you have only image formats? which formats?
