Subject: 0.99.1: This file makes XnView MP crashes

XnView: MP 0.99.1 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 10 Home Version 20H2 - 64bit

Hi,

I've attached a file that makes XnView MP crashes on my computer. I'm not sure whether this problem only happens on my computer or not.

NOTE: Please extract the compressed file when trying to test it. This forum doesn't allow me to attach a file without extension, that's why I have to compress the file.

Effect: Program crashes

To reproduce:
1. Put the file in a folder that contains other images.
2. Open one of the image in the folder with XnView MP.
3. Click File - Browse
4. Click the file 'tr"
5. Program crashes

Actual behaviour (bug): Program crashes

Expected behaviour: Program shouldn't crash

i can't reproduce, if you put this file in a empty folder, and open the browser, same crash?

You extracted the file right?

I can't reproduce, do you have sent a crash dump?

Curiosity got me: Does not crash here either. (XnViewMP 0.99.1)

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.99.4. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
