Opening files inside folders renamed in non-english language doesn't work [Solved]

Opening any image/gif or video with XnView does not work, if these files are located inside any folder renamed for example "τεστ" (greek language) instead of using english, the files never open and instead you get the following error.
(folder's name appears in english in the popup, but the actual name is in greek language.)
Been experiencing this issue years now, but will it ever be fixed? XnView is the ONLY image viewer that I've seen this issue with.
