Ah, sorry I forgot to mention:
Try to set system zoom to 125%.
Probably this is the reason.

125% can be a problem. what do you use in "Settings>View>High zoom quality"? If you zoom in & zoom out to go back to 100%, same display?

Default setting: Zoom out, spline 36.
Zoom in|out and restore doesn't help.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in
XnView MP 0.99.7. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
