0.99.6: Forward and backward button don't work any more after editing a file when showing files in subfolders

XnView: MP 0.99.6 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 10 64bit
After editing and saving a file in picture view when subfolders are displayed, forward and backward button have no effect any more.
Effect: User must close the picture and reopen it to restore functionality of forward and backward buttons
To reproduce:
1. show folder with subfolders
2. choose "show files in subfolders"
3. open file (with doubleclick)
4. move through files with forward and backward button: OK
5. edit a file and save
6. press forward or backward button: nothing happens
7. close file
8. reopen (any) file
9. press forward or backward button: OK
Actual behaviour (bug): Forward and backward button don't react any more
Expected behaviour: The buttons keep their functionality.
When "show files in subfolders" is not active and one moves only through one folder the buttons keep their functionality after editing and saving a file.
