Update rating from files

Subject: 0.99.6: "update catalog from files" don't update ratings

XnView: MP 0.99.6 64bits (Dec 10 2021)
OS: Windows 10 - 64 bits

No refresh of ratings made outside XnView

Effect: Difficulty to modify image's ratings from differents applications or on a shared directory

To reproduce:

• Create a catalog

• Import a directory in the newly created catalog

• Modifiy rating of one of theses images from Windows Explorer for example (add a star)

• Select modified image in XnView

• Refresh catalog from files

Actual behaviour (bug): rating isn't updated
Expected behaviour: new rating should appear on modfied images

no not the same problem. You change the rating in windows explorer, and 'Update catalog from files' don't update rating in XnView?

I tried on the new version 0.97. It worked.
