Subject: 0.99.6: <IPTC-IMM is not read from NEF-files and cannot be written to these files>
XnView: MP 0.99.6 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 10 20H2 / 64bit
<IPTC-IMM is not read from NEF-files and cnnot be written to these files>
Effect: <If a NEF-file is selected ITPC-IIM data is not shown in the info field (even creator information from the camera is not shown, if ITPC data is changed via Ctrl-I the data is not written to the file>
To reproduce:
1. Select a NEF file
2. Press Ctrl-I
3. Change a field
4. Write to file
Actual behaviour (bug): After the write the EXIF tab in the info field is selected but empty The IPTC tab is added and contains the information entern, but if the image is de-selected and then re-selected the IPTC tab is not displayed anymore. CTRL-I reveals that the entered IPTC information is not in the file or not retrieved. For NEF files, which contain IPTC information the information is not shown.
Expected behaviour: IPTC data should be written to the image file and displayed as contained in the image file as it worked before v0.99.6.
