is there any possibility how to read more than the first slide from powerpoint slideshows (ppt/pps) ? I think it would really be perfect if XnView/nConvert was capable of this....

Currently not possible

There's two icons in the toolbar with an arrow and a paper. (They're just after the icons that are just arrows).

They're only enable when open GIFs, TIFs and PPSs with more than one image.

Try it.
