Hi,

I have built a large list (tree) of IPTC-categoriies (which is displayed on the left side of the XNView screen, near the thumbnail-previews).
How can I save this list? Where it is stored?

it is stored in category.db

With XnViewMP, you can import this category.db (Tools>Settings>Catalog>Tools>Import XnView category.db)

Then, you'll be able to export categories in a standard TXT format (drop down menu in categories pane of XnViewMP )
