[solved] Customized toolbar - changes not saved at next session (Windows issue only)

OS: Windows 10

Install method: Downloaded zip-file and create desktop shortcut to exe file manually.
Other issues: None known to me.

About screen
XnView MP Windows
Version 0.99.7 64bits (Jan 13 2022)
Libformat version 7.100

Issue description:
Open any image file. Then make a change to customize the tool-bar. Next time XnView MP is opened and an image are loaded, the toolbar is reset to default.


Linux version of XnView MP seems to not be affected by this issue

OS: Linux Fedora Workstation 35 (Gnome desktop)
Install method: Flatpak

Where do you save the toolbar file?

Thanks for your reply, but I don't think I understand what you mean - i.e. what is a toolbar file?

what do you have in settings>Integration>Paths?

Ok, that solved the issue because it turned out the folder that I have used (for more than two years) was somehow gotten write protected of reasons that have nothing to do with XnView MP.

Also, since the ini file is placed in same dir as XnView executable, there was many settings that also was working normally.
