Hi,

Can't figure out how to get webp as an option right clicking a file in the browser view.
Looks like this and I'm missing the webp option. Is this a setting or maybe not implemented there?

Welcome to the XnView forum, iorx, and thank you for registering, here. In the context menu only most common used functions and formats are listed. Looks like "Convert > WebP" isn't considered as an often used function. :-/ And from what I can see there is no way to configure this.

To get your image converted to WebP please perform following steps:
1. Open your image using double-click on thumbnail or "Enter" key
2. Select "File > Export...".
3. In "Export" dialog you can choose amongst all available formats including Webp.

Ah, NICE! Eagerly awaiting the update.

I composed this below as an answer to helmut earlier but missed posting it:

Hi and thanks for the answer!

Excellent then I know. I resorted to the Batch Conversion routine for a mass conversion of some material I had, the convenience to do it with a right click was for future single conversions to that and similar collections. Can I enter this as a Feature Request?

The format webp I think is amazing, and would love to see it more "commonly" used. A good start is to make it more available as option :D
